We are pregnant

Where to start is the question. There are so many stories we want to share with you, how I met your father, how we made it against all odds, our world travels and love for different cultures and most importantly to share with you how our lives have become so enriched, full, blessed and amazingly awesome since you joined our family. So this blog is dedicated to you, Keyan.

I had been feeling odd for a little while and decided to take a pregnancy test. Somewhere I had read that a test is most accurate when taking it with the first pee and here I was off at 05 something am in the morning, armed with the test. Nervous, excited, I now had to wait for minutes to see the result. Minutes seemed hours and while the first line was there immediately, a second line was missing. The test instructions revealed that two clear lines are visible when the test is positive and so I waited as read until the time was up. And there it was, very faint, but there. The second line on the test. For a little while, I just sat there, looking at this test, not sure what to do next. A million thoughts racing through my head.

And then I ran to your father and woke him, 1 1/2 hours before his alarm would go off. I told him all that had just occurred and proudly showed him the pregnancy test. And yes, there it was for the very first time, the beaming happiness and pride only a father can show. {{Grinning from ear to ear}}

But we had to be absolutely sure and made an appointment with the Gynecologist. And she too confirmed what we had so hoped for. We were indeed pregnant, 3 weeks in total.

And this is how our new adventures all began. Little did we know then how you would take over our lives, how you would hi jack our hearts and how we would make all our decisions for our future with only you in mind. Parenthood is selfless and the best thing in the world!
